Be a part of The Broadway Market’s 3rd Cookbook! This time around, we are collecting Buffalo’s favorite family recipes! Submit family favorites that are staples at your table: those that have been passed down for generations and the newest creations that are sure to become classics. If you have a story about a recipe and/or a favorite photograph of your family at dinner, even better! Recipes will be credited to the family or person who submits it. The Infringement Festival arrives August 1st!

The Buffalo Infringement Festival lands on the rooftop of the Broadway Market Sunday, August 1st with a full roster of music, performances, poetry, art and dance. Doors for this free event open at noon and the festivities continue until 8 PM. See infringebuffalo.org for a complete schedule of the day.

EM Chrusciki Bakery Wins Taste of Buffalo Award

The Broadway Market’s EM Chrusciki Bakery won an award for their Carmel Confusion at the 2010 Taste of Buffalo. Two Chrusciki employees are in hats – Irene Sekuterski is holding the award, Ania Gurnari is in the White Hat. Tom Kerr, Broadway Market Executive Director, and his wife Maureen stopping by to taste some of the award winning carmel confusion.
