The Broadway Market has all of the ingredients needed to make your Holiday Shopping list easy to complete. Kriskindlemart vendors offer holiday food and craft items and of course, the Broadway Market’s traditional fresh produce, meats, bakery and candy items. The Broadway Market is located at 999 Broadway and is open every day 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, except Sunday. Parking is available in the parking ramp attached to the market.

Santa is at the market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, with extended hours the week before Christmas.  Pictures with Santa are only $5.00.

Elf Workshop (Every Saturday through Christmas)

• An “Elf Workshop” will be open all Saturdays from noon to 3:00 pm through Christmas. Children will have the opportunity to make a holiday craft item for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa as well as other family members at a variety of elf-stations. Elves will also be available to assist with a small gift purchase and gift wrapping. Photos with Santa are only $5.00.

Broadway Market Christmas Cookie Contest (Sat – 12/08)

• Do you have a favorite holiday cookie recipe that you would like to share? Why not enter your cookie in the Broadway Market’s Holiday Cookie Contest on Saturday, December 8. Entries are accepted from 11 am – 12 noon with contest following. Contestants must provide three dozen cookies for judging. Winner’s recipe will receive a prize and be used in the next Broadway Market Cook book. For additional information contact the market at 893-0705.

Holiday Cookie Decorating Demonstration (Sat – 12/15)

• Learn how to decorate your holiday cookies by pastry chef, Lena Cannata Patterson. This event is from noon until 2:00 pm in the center of the market.  You will also have the oppotunity to purchase three cookies for $5.00 to decorate and bring home. Pre-registration is required by December 10, stop in the market to register or call 893-0705.

Kriskindlemart Holiday Wine and Beer Festival (Sun – 12/23)

• As the holiday shopping winds down come in, relax and enjoy samples of wines from the Lake Erie Wine Country and the Niagara Escarpment as well as local breweries selections of winter beers on Sunday, December 23 from noon – 4:00 pm.
