The Broadway Market’s Dip Fest | 02/04/2023
The Broadway Market’s Dip Fest is a celebration of one of Buffalo’s favorite Football food categories. Buffalo holds its wing dip in high regards and it will always have a place in our hearts, but we want to see all that Buffalo has to offer when it comes to dip!
We would like to invite business owners, chefs and restaurants to join us for our first ever Dip Fest at The Broadway Market free of charge. Participants will set up a stand in the Market were samples of their dip will be sold to event goers. Each participant can bring up to 2 different dips. We ask that all samples be priced between $2 and $4. Participants are allowed to sell dip to go at whatever price point they deem profitable. Participants take home 100% of their profit.
All participants will be asked to come in a week prior to select a space on the Market floor. The event will run from 11am-4pm. We ask that participants arrive between 10am-10:30am to set-up their station on Feb. 4th. Each station is equipped with electricity. Participants are allowed to bring 1 to 2 additional people to help in their space. Dips have to be made in a commercial kitchen and brought to the Market for serving using food safe guidelines. If you do not have access to a commercial kitchen please contact The Kitchen @ the Market via email at kitchenatthemarketmanager@gmail.com. We can make our kitchen available to participants the night before and the morning of Feb. 4th.
After registering via Eventbrite (see below for link to register) all participants must complete a Market application and indemnification form that will be sent via email. Lastly, all participants have to provide proof of million dollar liability insurance listing the Broadway Market and the City of Buffalo as additionally insured.
We will have a judging portion to name one of the participants “Dip Fest Best”. Judging will be done by a panel of Local Food influencers and foodies. Judging will happen at noon.
